James Alexander's books only seem to get better. His latest swear word book brings back the classic doodles and creatures that show up on his earlier works. The squiggle monsters and characters make the pages detailed and interesting, but not so much so that you can never finish them. With some persistence, you might even be able to finish a page in one long, serious coloring session. These pages are definitely more relaxing that frustrating or stressful like the more complicated books.
You can really use any medium to color in these books. Colored pencils, pens, markers - you name it. The pages are single-sided, so you generally don't have to worry about ink bleeding through to the backside. The paper is pretty thick as it is; it's good quality.
Like his other books, F*ck Off, I'm Coloring! uses a black background for all the coloring pages. If you haven't tried a black background book before, this or another James Alexander book would be good ones to start with. They're some of the most popular black background coloring books on the market.
The book is a bit expensive, but it has the quality to back up the price. The art is fun and whimsical, and the paper and binding are top notch.
